Nature, Adventure & Biodiversity

Planta protects 21 hectares of lush jungle, connected to over 6,000 hectares of Parque Nacional Huatulco, including 5,000 hectares of marine protected area .

Guests are immersed in exuberant nature, giant mango and tamarind trees , and an extensive biodiversity of birds, plants, insects, and wildlife. The property also integrates permaculture practices, regenerative agriculture, and conservation efforts, creating a living, breathing ecosystem .

Explore beaches just 3.5 km away —some with calm bays and coral reefs perfect for snorkeling , others with waves crashing against rocks and perfect sunsets . The village is only 500 meters away, with essentials, delivery options, and easy access by colectivo or private taxi.

The House, Art & Community

The project began in 2022, restoring the abandoned main house, left in ruins for 30 years. Beyond remodeling, it was artistically transformed with vibrant colors and flowers, reflecting Oaxaca in Planta-style .

In summer 2025, Hurricane Eric split the house in two . Thanks to the support of local communities, guests, and friends, Planta emerged stronger and even more magical. The fallen parota tree root remains, symbolizing resilience, creativity, and shared community spirit.

Inside, guests enjoy shared lounge areas, coworking spaces, indoor & outdoor tables, sofas, hammocks, and a shared kitchen . Wi-Fi is available in the house and main gardens . Free parking is provided.
